Are there different sizes?
Originally, we designed several sizes, but we’ve found that one specific size works best for larger and smaller folks alike. If a cooler is too large, it may be uncomfortable while seated. If a cooler is too small, it will be less effective. We believe we’ve found the perfect size that is just right for all body sizes about 99.9% of the time, and we back that with our lifetime warranty.
Will this change my armor’s ability to protect me?
While our coolers are made of extremely tough material, we make no claim that our product will add any any additional protection to your armor at all. Generally, the tactical material we use in the construction of our coolers is known to be extremely resilient and flexible. This product has not undergone sufficient scientific testing to determine effect on user safety when exposed to blast, impact or other stress. Consult your ballistic protection manufacturer’s documentation to determine if this product is suitable for your use. Our products are only designed to increase the comfort of wearable armor.
What can I do if my vest cooler is uncomfortable?
We’ve found the most common reason a user might experience discomfort is due to over-tightening of their vest. Try adjusting your vest so that it is not overly tight. Be sure your fit meets the criteria of your armor manufacturer. Once you find the right snugness, the Vent-A-Vest cooler will be so comfortable, you will forget you are wearing it! Our product is designed to make you MORE comfortable, not less comfortable. If you are not more comfortable with our product installed, simply return it for a full refund, no questions asked! We want to do whatever it takes to make it right for you.
